Job Duties

The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Risk Management Analyst with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Enterprise Sourcing and Risk Management team.

This position supports SCM’s Contract Risk Management Team. This team is responsible for mitigating risk in IT procurements that are classified as high-risk, major projects, and Cloud/SaaS procurements.

This position will provide data analysis, project coordination, administrative services, and customer service support to enable all efforts within CRM to run smoothly and efficiently.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

Project planning and coordination to support all CRM high-risk and Cloud sourcing activities.

Technical scribing during negotiation meetings.

Manage all communications related to high-risk reviews, training, and Cloud Sourcing.

Schedule Cloud negotiation meetings and communicate plans to all relevant stakeholders.

Document meeting minutes, action items and report out to relevant stakeholders.

Assist with the development and implementatiion of new processes and work instructions
Support CRM metrics reporting.

Schedule meetings, create and send out meeting agendas.

Assist with the coordination of the interview process for new associates.

Support CRM's SharePoint folders including content management.

Assist with the development and distribution of customer focused surveys and process mapping as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Considerable knowledge of MS 365 Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Team).

Considerable experience planning, gathering, and coordinating information, objectives, projects, and tasks.

Considerable experience communicating with stakeholders and suppliers.

Considerable experience managing documents and information with a logical, analytical approach to attain conclusions and recommendations.

Considerable knowledge of various contract types and procurement methods.

Considerable experience with project coordination/management.

Considerable experience meeting deadlines.

Considerable experience in Information Technology procurements and contracting.

Knowledge interpreting and applying of federal, state laws/regulations.

Considerable knowledge of Cloud services.

Additional Considerations

Experience in state or local government procurement.

Experience in supply chain management, public administration, business management, or equivalent experience.

Working knowledge of the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA) and VITA policies, guidelines, and standards.
