Job Duties The purpose of this position is to provide support and leadership for the development and management of projects and programs connected to academic programs (e.g., degree programs or faculty research) related to public health. Academic initiatives supported by this position include the MPH Program, the NSU Public Health Collaborative and ad hoc projects that support public health education and scholarship.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordination and support for programs or projects related to academic initiatives
  • Apply knowledge of best practices for the support of academic initiatives
  • Conduct program planning and development
  • Engage in program implementation aligned with priorities, policies and procedures
  • Provide training for staff and other collaborators
  • Contribute to evaluations and reporting
  • Contribute to policy development and analysis
  • Perform research and analysis on specific issues, as required
  • Plan and implement special projects or events

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience coordinating projects or programs in a college or university setting
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in public health or education
