Job Duties

The Assignments Manager oversees all housing assignments, occupancy management, and
room change processes to ensure accurate placement and maximize capacity. This role partners with campus stakeholders to support enrollment goals and deliver a smooth, student-centered housing experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of residence life operational policies and procedures; attentiveness to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal/human relations skills, excellent organizational/planning skills. Must be able to prioritize workloads and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, must be able to work a flexible schedule, and have excellent personal computer skills. Must be able to function well under intense pressure. Must possess general knowledge or experience with Microsoft Office is required. Must be able to work as essential personnel and fulfill essential personnel duties as
assigned.

Additional Considerations

Education, Experience, and Licensure, Certification required for entry into position
Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, Counseling or related field. or a bachelor’s degree with work experience equivalent to a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, Counseling or related field is
required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred. Previous experience working within a college student
Housing program or student life is strongly preferred
