Job Duties

This position provides high-level administrative and technical support to the Human Resources Director as well as provide program support to all functional areas of within the Human Resource Department. Provide ongoing inventory management and maintains archive management in accordance with the Library of Virginia standards. This position provides administration and technical support for the VSP background check, DMV record check, drug testing, and Central Registry search programs. Coordinates special events for PGH to include Service Awards, Recognition Programs, etc. Collaborates with Human Resource and Training Department staff to ensure a positive culture and effective customer service for all internal and external customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing and electronically.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to assess and prioritize tasks and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on matters such as scheduling interviews, pre-employment process, hiring dates, compensation, and benefit administration deadlines.
-Ability to perform fingerprint activities and to conduct oral alcohol/drug screens.

Minimum Qualifications

-Valid Driver's License
-Customer Service Experience
-Proficient in Data Entry
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

-Experience working in Human Resources
-Advanced course work in Human Resources or related field
