Job Duties

This is a restricted position, which is solely funded by the Ryan White grant for a period ending 3/31/2027. The availability of funding is scheduled for review 12/31/2026 before the grant expiration date and periodically thereafter. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of funds.

This position serves on the HIV Care Services Unit’s data team and is
responsible for assisting with data reporting to the federal funder, Health
Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), providing technical
assistance, ensuring data quality, analyzing trends to aid in quality
improvement for improved HIV Care. This position also manages the unified
eligibility auditing team to ensure compliance with the federal funder.

Provides support, in a staff capacity, by focusing on intermediate term program
issues with agency wide application. Characteristic duties include; Data
management (overseeing data systems), reporting (creating detailed reports);
analysis (identifying trend, patterns, and insights), technical assistance (training
providers and staff) and support (assisting with grant writing and providing data
for program evaluation and decision making). Thorough knowledge of program
management, analytical principles and service integration is necessary.
Responsibilities are carried out independently based on an outline or work plan
developed by or approved by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient with statistical software (SAS, SPSS, Python, SQL, or R, etc.)
• Proficient with data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or Python, etc.)
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office software
• Analytical skills by applying statistics and data modernization to improve process efficiency
• Knowledge of program planning, research, evaluation, and quality control methods.
• Experience in providing technical assistance related to program development and analysis.
• Ability to interpret and implement data collection and reporting requirements.
• Skilled in presenting information clearly and effectively.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, provide leadership, set priorities, facilitate collaboration, and effectively convey information to others.

Additional Considerations

- Capacity to maintain multiple projects and function effectively both independently and as part of a team.​
- Experience working with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the related reporting requirements in the grant year cycle. 
-Experience with Ryan White, ADAP, health care services, infectious disease surveillance, or grants administration
