Job Duties
This position reports to the Chief of Health Services Operations and serves as a leader to clinical, operational, and administrative teams on quality improvement. They will develop, monitor, and manage the statewide quality assurance and improvement plan for all facilities and work with various stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures. This position will also provide direct support to the CMO in chairing the state-wide Patient Safety Committee. In addition, this position will be involved in grievances, complaints, ACA accreditation and compliance. This position develops, implements, evaluates, and monitors programs in partnership with the facilities and regional teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and experience focused on quality improvement, patient safety, or risk management functions
Experience in healthcare patient safety, quality improvement, or related discipline.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement principles
Strong analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills
Ability to travel regularly to assigned facilities
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams or in a complex healthcare system
Experience leading QI projects and training staff
Additional Considerations
Master’s degree in relevant field
Clinical licensure
Professional certification in relevant field
Experience in a carceral setting
Experience in outpatient settings
Demonstrated success implementing systemwide risk-reduction initiatives or process improvement projects
