Job Duties
Daily operations of Visitors Center, retail ticket and merchandise sales via point of sale system, fiscal and computer transactions and recordkeeping, excellent internal and external customer service, general daily tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent customer service, people and teamwork skills, dependability, be organized and neat in work habits and workspace, manage time efficiently and meet deadlines, and be responsive and positive when confronted with unexpected customer service situations. As this is a high-visibility position in a busy public museum, be able to model positive behaviors and workplace demeanor for junior and part-time staff, work successfully as a part of a team, in general represent Museum to community and peers in a positive way through professional appearance, excellent interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
