Job Duties

  • Develop content and segment messaging to reach a broad audience across marketing channels such as websites, landing pages, articles, email, social media, sponsorships, events, webinars, print, radio, digital ads, and press releases.
  • Serve as lead for medium and large marketing related projects and events including planning, tracking, adjusting execution based on audience and ensuring appropriate materials are available and deadlines are met
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution for content needs in alignment with the content calendar, ensuring message consistency across programs and audiences, on-time publication, and effective coordination with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in public relations, marketing, communications
  • Experience managing small to mid-sized marketing projects with deadlines
  • Experience developing marketing plans and drafting complex communications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to large, diverse audiences in person or electronically
  • Ability to independently prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of social media measurement and analytics tools
  • Ability to work effectively within a marketing team and cross-functionally with other divisions and departments
  • Ability to proofread, maintain brand consistency and ensure high quality work
  • Ability to solve problems creatively
  • Knowledge of basic marketing concepts, strategies and tactics
  • Understanding of content strategy, writing marketing content and design basics

Work Environment:

  • Typical office environment with considerable time in a sitting, stationary position
  • Must be able to occasionally move around the building or other public venuesConstantly operate a computer and other office equipment including typing and keying
  • Frequently communicate with vendors, employees, and guests; must be able to exchange accurate information accordingly
  • Occasionally bend and squat to lift or move boxes or supplies
  • Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to 20 pounds unassisted
  • Periodic travel required
