Job Duties
The rehab aide supports the mission of the rehab department and facility. The position is responsible for encouraging residents to achieve their optimum activity level by helping the residents with range of motion exercises and walking around the facility. Assists in cleaning rehab/gym equipment and assists in activities to meet the overall needs of the rehab/therapy department. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of personal care needs and activities of daily living; ability to carry out the responsibilities of the position; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with others; and possess the physical ability to turn, bend and lift non-ambulatory adult patients without restrictions.
