The Chesapeake Health Department seeks an experienced Business Resource Coordinator. This position supports the district with the coordination and management of daily business operational activities, including functions related to finance, facilities management, inventory, fixed and controllable assets and fleet management and
supervises and supports the vital records and statistics program within the district.
Characteristic duties include researching funding sources, collecting and analyzing data for
business needs and providing guidance and coordination of services for assigned
customer base. This position reports directly to the Business Manager-C.

Minimum Qualification

  •    Knowledge of facility management processes, including OSHA, maintenance, contracts, utilities, security, and employee access.
    • Ability to evaluate and coordinate facility needs and collaborate with stakeholders.
    • Understanding of contract coordination and fiscal administration related to facility services.
    • Experience conducting inventory management and managing tracking, monitoring, and disposal processes for assets.
    • Experience developing reports and maintaining records in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Ability to manage and maintain accurate data and records.
    • Strong communication skills to serve as a liaison with internal teams, contractors, and external partners.
    • Ability to coordinate IT support and link customers to resource.
