Job Duties

VMI is accepting applications for a part-time Store/Warehouse Clerk.

Job Duties:

Unpack and check quantities against purchase order/invoices.
Place stock in proper locations and kept in order. Ability to physically lift merchandise (up to
50lbs) to stock shelves and move inventory as needed. Inventory procedures & basic mathematics desired.
Assist with check in and record all uniform items from departing, Foreign Study and graduating cadets.
Accurately size and tag garments to be returned to stock as prescribed for the item(s) and return to proper area.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to physically lift merchandise (up to 50lbs) to stock shelves and move inventory as needed, walking, climbing stairs and standing for long periods of time.
Knowledge of cash register/credit card operations, inventory procedures & basic mathematics.
Experience in MS Windows – Excel, Word, Access.
Customer service interaction

Additional Considerations

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Motor Vehicle driver's license required.
