About the Role
As a District Senior Human Resources Analyst, you will provide advanced-level HR support and consultation to leadership, managers, and employees within assigned districts. This role involves delivering expert guidance in key HR areas, including:
• Classification and compensation
• Recruitment and staffing
• Employee relations
• Performance management
• Policy interpretation
• HR compliance and best practices

You will play a central role in driving data-informed decisions, resolving complex HR issues, and fostering a positive, equitable workplace culture aligned with VDH’s mission and workforce goals.

Minimum Qualifications


• Considerable knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws, in the areas of classification and compensation, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate workforce data, interpret policies, develop recommendations, and ensure consistent applications of policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate complex HR concepts clearly and professionally to leadership, managers, and employees.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Skill in consulting, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and providing customer-focused HR services.
• Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Considerations


• Progressive experience/training in Human Resources, Business or related field
• Working knowledge of Human Resource policies & procedures
