Job Duties
Purpose of Position:
Responds to needs for diagnosis, testing, installation, repair, maintenance, resolution, and upgrade of application systems software statewide. Monitors the health and welfare of application systems on the network. Prepares and provides documentation of setup configuration, management solutions and technical development. To plan, develop and monitor backup and recovery operations in support of Windows, Database, and Application servers. Will also include the engineering and maintenance of the storage infrastructure associated with the IT-supported applications and databases.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must have a solid knowledge of Windows Server Software, Storage Configurations and VMWare, with demonstrated experience as an administrator;
Experience as a SharePoint administrator;
Verbal and written communication skills are required;
Demonstrated abilities to perform across multiple projects simultaneously and to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues are required;
Proven experience in systems administration within a Microsoft-based environment;
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft 365;
Experience with Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure;
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation;
Solid understanding of networking concepts and enterprise infrastructure;
Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly Hyper-V;
Experience with large-scale cloud migrations;
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and management tools;
Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA, or similar) required;
Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record required;
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance required.
Additional Considerations
Additional experience with creating and managing AD Group policy objects and ACAS scanning a plus;
Prior military service and/or experience in a military setting preferred.
Active Secret Security Clearance preferred.
