Job Duties
Provides administrative, fiscal, and technical support for the Regional Managers through good customer skills, proficient filing of all documents, good secretarial and computer skills. Maintains filing, processes mail, completes vouchers, and utilizes eVA for ordering items needed for the office. Purchasing using the P-Card (Visa) log and processing invoices for payment. Makes Hotel reservations for office staff as required. Supports the regional office in regards to computer equipment and maintenance of that equipment.
Serves as an administrative support position to the Western Regional Office providing good customer service skills to the public as well as staff at Institutions and Community who call and/or visit the office. This position compiles maintains documentation for the Regional Business Manager & other Regional Staff, which aids the organization in being proficient and able to find and provide support documents in a proficient and efficient manner.
Minimum Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of DOC policies and procedures and Purchase and Supply/Commonwealth Accounting policies and procedures. The ability to operate/utilize computer system and other basic office machines. The ability to perform detailed work with numerical data. Strong organization, communication, writing and keyboarding skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Extensive experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher and Word.
Additional Considerations
Previous experience with bookkeeping, computer and office equipment and environment.
