Job Duties
Position Description: Provide logistical support and administrative recordkeeping for legislative committee meetings during session.
Provide efficient and professional staff support for legislative committees and subcommittees during the legislative session including creation of patron notices and agendas in coordination with committee leadership and Legislative Services staff.
Ensure parliamentary procedures are followed in committee and subcommittee meetings.
Track all assigned bills throughout the committee process. Accurately record and communicate committee and subcommittee actions in accordance with prescribed procedures.
Efficiently operate committee databases (e.g. iHOD, HOD Speak, and HOD Voting) and related technology.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of House of Delegates committee process/procedures

This is an hourly position for the 2027 Session of the House of Delegates. The position is located at the General Assembly Building in downtown Richmond.
