Job Duties

The Agency Grants Manager provides support, in a staff capacity, by focusing on intermediate term program issues with agency wide application. Characteristic duties include: program development, planning, monitoring, analysis, grants management,
recommending policies and procedures, program research, and evaluating changes in rules, regulations and legislative proposals for impact on service delivery. Thorough knowledge of program management, analytical principles and service integration is necessary. Responsibilities are carried out independently based on an outline or work plan developed by or approved by the supervisor.

This is a restricted position, which is solely funded by the Rural Health Transformation Grant ending 09/30/2027. The availability of funding is scheduled for review before the grant expiration date and periodically thereafter. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of funds.

Minimum Qualifications

· Demonstrated knowledge of governmental accounting principles, policies, procedures & standards
· Previous knowledge and experience with state & federal grant financial management & reporting requirements; cash management techniques
· Proven experience of federal time & effort reporting requirements
· Documented ability to manage people & processes
· Confirmed experience with the Commonwealth's Accounting & Reporting System & PeopleSoft
· Proficient in Excel, Access and Word, with experience using database applications
