The Office of the Provost is seeking a dynamic and qualified professional to serve as the Testing Services Administrative Assistant/Proctor to provide proctor and test administration support to the Director of Testing Services. The incumbent will provide support for all locally developed and national exams.
The Testing Services Administrative Assistant/Proctor ensures the integrity of the testing environment, procurement and maintenance of essential testing materials and equipment, security of testing materials and compliance with
certification requirements of test vendors, while providing exemplary test administration, proctoring, and customer service to clients, in accordance with NCTA standards and national test sponsor regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Administer and proctor exams.
2. Order and maintain testing inventory.
3. Answer telephone, greet, and assist persons entering the testing office.
4. Perform daily inspection of Testing Center computers to ensure that required software and icons are functioning properly.
5. As needed, work with Information Technology Services (ITS) to resolve technical issues with computer and camera systems .
6. Maintain testing certifications.
7. Must be available to work evening and weekend hours.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Experience and knowledge of test administration and proctoring.
2. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse array of internal and external students, staff, and faculty.
3. Demonstrated ability to interpret test administration regulations, policies, and standards .
4. Demonstrated ability in uploading software and digital equipment maintenance.
5. Skilled in using computerized applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases .
6. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in information technology, liberal arts or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and training that provides the requisite knowledge, skill, and abilities .
7. Work experience in test administration and/or proctoring.
8. Experience in higher education setting.
