Job Duties

Catawba Hospital is partnering with Radford University for a paid summer internship for students majoring in the areas of Social Work, Psychology, Adjunctive/Recreational Therapy and Nursing. This opportunity will require the selected applicant to work Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for 10 weeks starting with orientation on Tuesday May 27, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications

. KSA’s and or Competencies required to successfully perform the work

Ability to provide patient care under supervision of licensed staff and/or Lead CNA; ability to follow instructions and report observations to licensed nursing staff in a timely manner; skills in providing assistance to patients in activities of daily living. Demonstrates competencies as defined on Competency Assessment.

Additional Considerations

This is a 10-week paid internship starting May 27th. Selected applicants will work 40 hours per week.
