Job Duties
The Clinical Care Technician (CCT) is responsible for direct patient care in a hospital setting. CCT’s will give medication in accordance with treatment plans and policy. CCT’s document and report errors via specific software and reporting mechanisms. Must be able to communicate in a written, verbal, and electronic manner that is open, factual, respectful, clear, concise, as well as addressed to the appropriate parties with the intention of effectively building positive interactions with others. CCT’s must be able to learn and effectively use the OneMind Electronic Health Record. A successful CCT at WSH will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, assist in Milieu management, continue to advance their knowledge and education, work directly with patients and administer medication according to WSH guidelines 100% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of illness and treatment modalities to include medication administration. Ability to participate in interdisciplina1y team.
Effective communication.
Ability to implement nursing care plan and provide guidance to other staff. Demonstrates knowledge of recovery/trauma informed care.
