Custodian (Macon Cove - Morning Shift) in Memphis
This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the assigned Custodial Supervisor. The custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas and related work as required. He/she is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend at any Southwest Tennessee Community College location as assigned. The standard shift time for this position is 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work is reviewed and evaluated through inspection of work performed. Specific duties may vary depending on the type of facility to be cleaned. This position primarily reports to the Macon Cove campus. This position may be contacted during non-duty hours.

This position is responsible for developing, expanding, and sustaining innovative partnerships with business, industry, educational partners, and community organizations throughout our nine-county service area to ensure a well-prepared workforce for in-demand careers. The Director provides thoughtful vision and leadership for the design and delivery of all workforce programming, including customized training, short-term nonacademic certifications, apprenticeships, and continuing education. The ideal candidate is a results-driven and collaborative leader who understands economic trends and evolving needs of employers. He/she supervises the Assistant Director of Workforce Development.
