The Director provides leadership for staff that provide accounting and financial reporting services including financial statement preparation, budget preparation and reporting, Tennessee Board of Regent and State of Tennessee required reporting, position control and budget, and any ad hoc financial or budgeting reporting. The position is also responsible for management reports that include analysis of trends and the status of delivered services. This role requires the director to participate in the department’s day-to-day activities.
