Title: Temporary- Financial Aid Processor

POSITION SUMMARY
This is a temporary position designed to assist with verification, review, and award of files during peak processing times. This position is fully remote.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes student verification files for accuracy and makes corrections as necessary. Evaluates students’ Satisfactory Academic Progress. Awards students federal aid. Counsel students regarding file completion, repercussions of drops/withdrawals, SAP appeals via email,
phone calls, and/or TEAMS chats. Participate in online training.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree

Two or more years of related experience in Financial Aid.

Experience with Banner.

Reliable internet connection.

Only applicants who reside in Tennessee will be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years of experience in Financial Aid

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate with a diverse group of students and parents regarding financial aid. Must be detail oriented and organized while maintaining high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of financial aid regulations. Ability to review, interpret, and make professional judgments on complex issues while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. Ability to work independently.

Rate of Pay: $30.00 per hour
