Job Summary

• Under the supervision of the Vice-President of Workforce Development, serve as campus point of contact by establishing and maintaining effective interpersonal working relationships with students, prospective students, faculty, other staff, governmental entities, and the general public that further the college’s workforce development mission.
• Under the direction of the Vice-President of Student Services, establish enrollment goals and marketing plans to ensure Lexington Campus programs are fully populated. Assist dual enrollment students with the dual application process as needed. Engage in student recruitment activities.
• Provide on-site supervision of various staff members in coordination with department heads.
• Effectively communicate pertinent information to campus faculty and staff. Participate in advisory committee meetings.
• Counsel/advise currently enrolled students in areas such as: academic performance, attendance, and financial aid.
• Coordinate with the Testing Center Manager on the main campus to deliver various entrance and certification exams both on the Lexington campus and at local high schools. Serve as a back-up testing center administrator on the main campus when needed.
• Coordinate scheduling of campus events/facilities usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited university.
• Five (5) years of successful experience in an educational setting as an administrator, paraprofessional, or faculty member, with significant decision-making responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree preferred.
Higher education experience preferred.

• Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective administrator. Strong interpersonal skills, pleasant demeanor, and professionalism with coworkers, students, and the public.
• Display high effort, dedication, and commitment toward work; operate utilizing the efficient and organizational structure while demonstrating trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
