JOB SUMMARY
The Enterprise Systems Analyst serves as a functional and technical expert supporting Cleveland State’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment and associated third-party applications. The role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise systems including Finance, HR/Payroll, and Student AR modules, while working closely with IT, internal departments, and external vendors. The analyst ensures effective implementation of new applications, supports data reporting initiatives, and streamlines business processes for increased efficiency and compliance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICIATIONS
- Associates degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in ERP support, system integration, or report development.
- Proficiency in SQL, report writing tools (Argos, Power BI), and data visualizations
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Ellucian Banner and administrative tools like Touchnet, Jaggaer, and eVisions.
- Experience supporting both end-users and technical teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
ERP and Enterprise Application Support (20%)
- Provide technical and functional support for ERP modules.
- Serve as primary liaison for troubleshooting and assist users with system navigation and functionality.
- Support third-party enterprise applications.
- Address technical queries and challenges.
- Ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
- Coordinate with IT and vendors to resolve issues.
- Communicate updates and solutions to users.
- Manage upgrades and system maintenance.
Coordinating Third-Party Application Deployments (15%)
- Lead or support implementation of third-party applications and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Integrate applications with the ERP system.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders.
- Work with vendors for deployment.
- Manage timelines to ensure timely implementation.
- Ensure successful deployment and functionality of applications.
Automation and Administration of Financial Processes (15%)
- Administer and automate key business processes and workflows.
- Manage month-end and year-end close activities.
- Oversee student refunds and payroll adjustments.
- Facilitate financial aid disbursements.
- Use Jaggaer for procurement processes.
- Utilize Touchnet for payment processing.
- Manage transactions in eVisions for student information systems.
Reporting Systems and Dashboard Development (20%)
- Develop and maintain institutional reporting systems.
- Utilize tools such as ARGOS, SQL, Power BI, and Python.
- Ensure systems are up-to-date and functional.
- Build dashboards and reports for data analysis.
- Provide data for external reporting requirement.
- Ensure compliance with standards from organizations like THEC, TBR, IPEDS, and SACSCOC.
Data Integrity and Compliance Management (10%)
- Support data integrity and compliance.
- Manage reconciliations across systems.
- Run audit queries to identify discrepancies.
- Correct data errors in various systems including payroll.
- Fix inaccuracies in student information systems.
Student Records and HR/Payroll Documentation Management (5%)
- Collaborate with Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, HR/Payroll.
- Ensure accuracy of student records.
- Verify refund eligibility for students.
- Maintain documentation for employee self-service systems.
- Update information regularly.
- Ensure accessibility of relevant resources.
End User Training and Documentation Development (5%)
- Develop documentation for systems and applications.
- Create user guides and manuals.
- Train end users on supported systems and applications.
- Provide hands-on support during training.
- Support departments in interpreting and analyzing data.
Web Content Management (5%)
- Maintain web content for Business & Finance and HR/Payroll.
- Ensure access and availability to accurate forms.
- Provide relevant information for users.
- Regularly review and update processes.
Non-Essential Functions (5%)
- Serve on various college committees as appropriate.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ACTIVITIES & EQUIPMENT
Job responsibilities frequently involve working with personal computers and peripheral devices. Some tasks will require the use of computer equipment which may weigh between 25-50 pounds.
JOB LOCATION
The position is an on-site role at the Administration Building, located on the main campus of Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee. This will be the primary workplace, with occasional travel to off-campus sites within the college’s five-county service area and state-wide travel for TBR initiatives, as needed.
