Position Title: Dual Enrollment Student Support Associate
Location: Elizabethton Main Campus

Job Summary: This is a full-time student support position reporting to the Dual Enrollment Coordinator providing administrative and clerical support for TCAT Elizabethton’s Dual Enrollment program, with a primary focus on the embedded dual enrollment programs operated in partnership with 17 local high schools.
This position serves as an important point of contact for students, high school personnel, instructors, parents, and college staff regarding dual enrollment processes and requirements. The position assists with data entry, processing and maintaining dual enrollment documentation, responding to emails and phone calls, and ensuring that information is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working with students and education partners in a fast-paced administrative environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience performing clerical, administrative, customer service, or office-related duties.
- Experience with data entry and general computer applications.
DUAL ENROLLMENT DUTIES:
- Provide clerical and administrative support for the Dual Enrollment department and embedded dual enrollment programs.
- Assist with the processing, organization, and maintenance of dual enrollment applications, forms, records, and other required documentation.
- Enter and maintain student and program information in college systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review submitted paperwork for completeness and follow up when information or documentation is missing.
- Respond to routine dual enrollment questions received by phone, email, and other forms of communication.
- Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, high school staff, instructors, and college personnel regarding dual enrollment processes and documentation.
- Assist high school partners with questions regarding enrollment, paperwork, deadlines, student information, and other routine dual enrollment matters.
- Assist with tracking student enrollment and required documentation for embedded programs across the 17 local high schools.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper records in accordance with college procedures and applicable requirements.
- Assist with data collection, reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative tracking related to dual enrollment.
- Communicate with appropriate college departments to resolve routine enrollment or documentation issues.
- Assist with correspondence, notifications, and reminders to students and high school partners regarding required actions and deadlines.
- Provide general office/reception support as needed, including answering phones, greeting visitors, directing inquiries, and assisting with routine office functions.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and institutional information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately enter and maintain information in computer systems and databases.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and requests while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional and courteous telephone and email communication.
- Ability to work effectively with high school students, parents, high school personnel, college faculty and staff, and members of the public.
- Ability to understand and follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate judgment when handling student information.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Heavy use of computer and data entry
- Normal standing, sitting, and walking
- Involves periods of high activity during enrollment periods and other key points in the academic calendar
- Work hours are Monday–Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. and Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

SALARY RANGE:
Student Support Associate Level 1 (pay grade 2), $27,129 - $29,979 annually. Commensurate with education and experience according to TBR salary guidelines and applicable experience.
