    Diesel Powered Equipment Associate Instructor in Elizabethton

    The Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Elizabethton is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and student-focused Diesel-Powered Equipment Technology Associate Instructor to provide instruction and deliver high-quality training in a hands-on, open-enrollment technical education environment. The Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering instruction that prepares students for employment in the diesel and heavy equipment industry. The successful candidate will provide instruction in the diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel-powered equipment and related systems while creating an engaging learning environment for students with varying levels of experience and technical ability. Because the college operates with an open-enrollment philosophy, the instructor must be committed to meeting students where they are and helping them develop the technical, employability, and problem-solving skills necessary for success. In addition to instructional responsibilities, the Instructor will assist with program planning and improvement, maintain industry relationships, support student recruitment and retention, and help ensure the program remains aligned with current industry standards and workforce needs.
