Associate Instructor, Diesel Powered Generator in Franklin
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Instructor position in the new Diesel Powered Electrical Generation program in Williamson County. The Diesel Powered Electrical Generation Associate Instructor is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to high school students to prepare them for employment as commercial diesel-powered generator technicians. Areas of instruction include AC, DC and analog electronics; soldering techniques; safety; diesel engine repair and maintenance; diesel powerplant troubleshooting, etc. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 7:30 a.m.to 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The position will be based at the Williamson County Innovation Hub at 106 Claude Yates Drive in Franklin. This is not a remote work position. Anticipated start date is July 1, 2026.
