Peer Mentors support first-time freshmen with a high school GPA of 2.2 or lower, as well as students returning from academic suspension or after a stop-out period, by providing mentorship, structured engagement, and opportunities that promote academic and personal success. They assist first-time freshmen in transitioning to college life, navigating campus resources, and developing the skills necessary for persistence and degree completion. For reentry students, Peer Mentors facilitate academic reintegration, connect them with relevant campus resources, and help them develop effective strategies for achieving their educational goals.

The Executive Director is responsible for conducting internal financial, operational, and compliance audits as outlined in the Colleges’ annual plan, or as directed for validating, enhancing or improving institutional processes. Specifically, the audits are for determining the adequacy of the institution’s systems of internal control for continuous improvement; risk management and fraud awareness; efficiency and effectiveness of financial, administrative and academic management; and verification of compliance with policies, requirements, and laws of the College, Tennessee Board of Regents, State of Tennessee, Federal Regulations, and accreditation standards. This position reports to the President. This is a hybrid virtual/in-person position.

Assistant Professor of Social Work in Jackson
This is a 9-month, term contract position. The Assistant Professor will perform day-to-day operations of the instructional programs in the Communication and Social Sciences department, within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Faculty member will also provide advisement to students, participate in college committees and campus activities, and develop coursework and curriculum for the Social Work transfer pathway. The standard teaching load is 15 credit hours per semester. The teaching assignment may include online; hybrid; and/or distance classes, evening classes, dual-enrollment, and off-campus locations. The instructor is responsible for the success of the teaching/learning process within the classroom.
