This is a full-time permanent position under the supervision of the assigned Custodial Supervisor. The custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas and related work as required. He/she is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend at any Southwest Tennessee Community College location as assigned. The standard shift times are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Work is reviewed and evaluated through inspection of work performed. Specific duties may vary depending on the type of facility to be cleaned. This position primarily reports to the Union Avenue campus. This position may be contacted during non-duty hours.

This position is responsible for the documentation and software programming for all types of HVAC and process control systems and perform maintenance and service for our HVAC/ Mechanical site-based equipment. Also responsible for installing, programming, testing, calibrating, operating, and repair of control systems along with their related software, hardware, and equipment. These systems control and monitor air handlers, pumps, valves, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, boilers, chillers, and other heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and components. Works with communication protocols that include but not limited to, BACnet MSTP, Echelon, Modbus, BACnet and IP. As well, perform general HVAC service & maintenance.
