The Automotive Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field of auto mechanics. The Automotive Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates and other administrative duties. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is grant-funded and is not a remote position.

The Director is responsible for overseeing the establishment and operation of the AI Division and for coordinating all project activities, including governance development, faculty and staff engagement, pilot projects, evaluation, reporting, and sustainability planning. This position serves as the primary institutional and federal point of contact for the grant and ensures alignment with Columbia State’s mission, policies, and institutional priorities.
