About the Department: The Mathematical Sciences Department in the College of Science (COS) at George Mason University offers undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs in pure, applied, and computational mathematics. About the Position: The Tenure Track Assistant Professor is expected to produce research on a regular basis, which should include publications, talks, and grant applications. The position is also expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and support the department’s undergraduate, M.S., and Ph.D. programs in Mathematics. The job consists of 40% research, 40% teaching, and 20% service. |
