About the Position:

Camp Counselors must be available to work until at least August 11, 2025. Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. Please note this position is located on the Science and Technology (formerly Prince William) campus in Manassas, Va.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of daily camp activities that guide campers in their personal growth and daily living skills; 
  • Assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers in their camper group within activities and throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes; 
  • Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude and behavior; and
  • Maintain continuous supervision of campers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age; 
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday; schedules may vary;
  • Attend mandatory training, dates and times TBD; 
  • Must have a cover letter, resume, and two letters of recommendation on file prior to interview; 
  • Have the desire and ability to enjoy working with children of all ages; 
  • Be respectful and sensitive to a diverse group of campers; 
  • Have current First Aid/Adult and Child CPR certification by June 1, 2025 (certification must be valid through August 2025); 
  • Successfully complete a tuberculosis (TB) screening and provide results that are valid through August 2025; and
  • Have current Allergy and Anaphylaxis Medication Administration Training valid through August 2025.
