CFRE is seeking applicants for ~12 summer positions to support ongoing research activity. Projects include the following: Great Lakes Coastal Wetland monitoring Lake sturgeon research Didymo (invasive algae) research St. Marys River water level changes Fish habitat research in the Straits of Mackinac Little Rapids restoration evaluation Oil spill research--biology and chemistry Applicants for research projects should be comfortable in and around water, tolerant of biting insects and harsh weather.

Technicians will assist with daily operations of the CFRE Fish Hatchery, contribute to USFWS sea lamprey control efforts, and assist with field and lab research as needed. Federal Work study is desirable.

Student Labor Phonathon, Advancement Fundraising Activities in Michigan
Call and build rapport with alumni, parents and friends of LSSU to update demographic information and acquire gifts to designated funds for the phonathon campaign. Work with other callers in a team oriented environment to further the development of the student calling program and reach goals. Arrive on time and with a positive attitude. Handle personal information with extreme confidentiality. Must be able to work early evenings. Flexible on some daytime hours.
