Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Native American Center Student Worker provides administrative support to the Native American Center. Duties include answering phones, greeting visitors, assisting with events, and providing general office support. The ideal candidate will be a friendly and outgoing individual with a strong interest in Indigenous culture and history.
Basic Functions:
Answer phones and greet visitors
Assist with events and programming
Provide general office support, such as filing, data entry, and light cleaning
Help maintain the Native American Center's website and social media presence
Work with other student workers and staff to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students
Help with marketing and outreach efforts
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled student at LSSU.
GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Strong communication skills.
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

Capable of using graphic design software
Experience with office administration or event planning

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
