Job Summary/Basic Function:

Primary responsibilities include covering open lab hours for students to practice, assisting students as needed, distribution of supplies to students as needed, and maintaining the cleanliness of all nursing labs. Assist Supervisor to set up or take down of nursing skills labs, being a standard participate in nursing simulation, and assisting any professors, public, or persons in the nursing lab. All other duties assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

You must be a LSSU Nursing Student and have completed NURS 213

Preferred Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

Adequate physical fitness to be able to sit and concentrate for long periods of
time; use of gross motor skills. Use of fine motor skills to operate computer; problem solving ability;
ability to understand and work with numbers; ability to see, hear, and speak
with or without the use of aids to perform normal office tasks. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Hours: 

M-Th, Weekends
