Admissions Student Ambassadors are a vital part of the recruitment of prospective students and are employed directly by the Admissions Office at Lake Superior State University. Student Ambassadors are a select group of students dedicated to the positive promotion of the Institution and are an essential component of LSSU’s public relation and outreach. -Provide prospective students and their families with exceptional customer service -Build relationships and lend guidance to prospective students and their parents in person and over the telephone. -Provide information concerning Lake Superior State University and share positive LSSU related experiences with the students and families -Relay the prospective student’s needs and requests to the appropriate Admissions staff -Aim to encourage enrollment of prospective students -Participate in required training meetings and remain informed of current LSSU Admissions and campus life procedures, activities, andevents -Provide assistance in various events and programs planned by the Admissions Office such as GLSW, Orientation, and Open Houses -Give tours of campus to prospective students and their families -Perform other admissions related tasks as needed such as data input, mailings, answering multi-line phone, ETC Some weekend work opportunities.
