    The Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Diversity Education (CREDE) at Elon University is a space for all students, dedicated to fostering empowerment, well-being, and holistic growth. The Assistant Director of the Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Diversity Education is part of a seven-person team committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through education, advocacy, and community building. This full-time, 12-month position shares responsibility for the daily operations of El Centro, including supervising, mentoring, and advising students and student leaders. With expertise in supporting Latinx/Hispanic students, the Assistant Director plays a key role in meeting the evolving needs of Elon’s diverse student populations. The position is responsible for designing and implementing culturally relevant programming, supporting student well-being and academic success, and cultivating an affirming space that reflects the values of inclusion and excellence. In collaboration with faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, the Assistant Director works to create a campus culture where all students feel seen, valued, and supported.   • University Photographer in Elon University Campus

    The University Photographer reports to the Director of Multimedia Marketing. The Photographer documents the life of the Elon University community by creating, managing and disseminating a wide and diverse portfolio of images that include people, programs, the campus, events and other activities. The Photographer administers the archival system for photography assets and ensures the library of available images is in alignment with the university brand. The position assists in a wide range of efforts to support the visual needs of the marketing, academic, web and strategic communications operations of the university.

    The Assistant Director of Parent Engagement will work to maintain and enhance parent engagement at Elon University by developing a strategic program engaging parents as partners, advocates and investors. Specifically, the Assistant Director leads the planning and management of Family Weekend, manages the parent and family communication strategy, and coordinates parent events with campus partners.

The priorities for this position include: • Developing and implementing the strategic mission and goals of Jewish Life at Elon • Supervising, mentoring, and developing Jewish Life staff team members and student leaders • Ensuring the financial sustainability of Jewish Life by overseeing fundraising campaigns and the stewardship of the Jewish Life Advisory Council (JLAC) • Partnering with administrative leaders across the institution in furthering university initiatives and priorities to strengthen inclusive excellence, wellness and well-being, leadership and civic engagement, the first-year experience, student success, and the residential campus experience • Advocating for the safety, security, and vibrancy of Jewish life on campus
