• $17.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification

• $17.00 / hour – Starting
• $17.50 / hour – Starting with previous experience.
• $20.00 / hour – Once on Repair Station.
• $25.00 / hour - Once on Repair Station (with A&P).

Purpose of Position

To assist the Avionics Manager, Avionics Technicians with troubleshooting, inspections and repairs of avionics equipment. Also, assisting Maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repairing electronic / electrical problems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Avionics Technician Assistants are responsible to work with the Avionics Manager.
• Assist Avionics Technicians assist in troubleshooting, inspection and repairs of avionics equipment.
• Creating work orders and ensuring proper paperwork is obtained.
• Assisting Maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting and repairing of electronic/electrical problems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and correcting discrepancies involving the airworthiness of an aircraft.
• Assist in the fabricating of wiring harnesses and test panels.
• Completing monthly Navigation data updates.
• Keeping workplace in a clean and orderly environment.
• Performing other duties as required

Required Competencies

• Must have flexible work schedule
• Must be able to work independently 

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a driver's license
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
