Purpose of Position
Support fieldwork in the summer to collect ground truth data within North Dakota and process fieldwork data for further data analyses and/or to support mapping and conducting spatial data analysis and spatial data presentation for research outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support fieldwork in the summer to collect ground truth data within North Dakota.
- Process fieldwork data for further data analyses.
- Support mapping and conducting spatial data analysis and spatial data presentation for research outcomes.
Required Competencies
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good Communication Skills.
- An interest in Bee Studies.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate education in Earth System Science and Policy, Geography, or related field.
- Experience with Geospartial Analyses.
- Experience with ArcGIS, Python, and R programming languages.
