Salary/Position Classification

• 25.96 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• up to 20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

Research assistant to work in the application of SAGE satellite data.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with processing SAGE satellite data
• Assist with crop modeling efforts
• Need a junior researcher who has experiences in both satellite data processing and agricultural modeling. 

Required Competencies

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

• Attending Atmospheric Sciences graduate classes in Fall.
• Strong background in software and programming skills.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
