Salary/Position Classification

  • $25-$33 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

To perform specialized tasks related to advance transportation infrastructure center at the College of Engineering & Mines. (CEM)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned tasks regarding non-contact data analysis, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, additive construction, UAS data collection, and produce high-quality technical documents (literature reviews, research methods, executive summaries, journal papers, research proposals)
  • Perform task related to engineering and basic research experimentation, documentation and visualization of results, production of presentation and lead technology demonstration within ATIC research focus area. 

Required Competencies

  • Technical experience in ATIC focus area
  • Skilled in experimental research
  • Excellence in technical communication, especially writing, teamwork and collaboration

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Graduate student with research interest and or experience in transportation infrastructure related science and engineering.

  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
