Salary/Position Classification

• $7.25 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 40 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability:Yes

Purpose of Position

This is a temporary, non-benefited position. Position will run from approximately 5/10/24 - 5/28/24.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To safely combine driving and previous weather/storm forecasting skills while participating in the ATSC 499 course that runs for the two weeks during the early summer session.  Position will run from approximately 5/10/24 - 5/28/24.

Required Competencies

• Good Communication Skills.
• Ability to get along with many types of people.
• Ability to drive long distances.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with excellent driving history.
• Extensive background in Atmospheric Sciences and weather at the faculty level
• Successful Completion of a Criminal History Background Check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with the summer storm course.
• Thunderstorm forecasting experience.
• Prior Teaching Assistant experience
