Salary/Position Classification

  • $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 20 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performing molecular biology experiments
  • Performing data analysis
  • Documenting experiments and analyses
  • Assisting with laboratory maintenance
  • Making presentations to disseminate research
  • Attending lab meetings
  • Writing manuscripts

Required Competencies

  • Strong professionalism skills
  • Able to work as a team and collaborate with others

Minimum Requirements

  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 academic credit for the semester of employment.
  • Completed BIOL 315 Genetics
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
