Salary/Position Classification

  • $13.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 7-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND undergraduate students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greeting and Assisting clients and visitors 
  • Answering and responding to phone calls and emails 
  • Notifying consultants know when their appointments have arrived 
  • Assisting with opening and/or closing the Writing Center 
  • Maintaining the tidiness and appearance of the Writing Center 
  • Maintaining the Writing Center’s social media accounts - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Prior Customer Service skills and/or experience
  • Prior Social Media skills and/or experience
  • Have an accepted FWS award for the 2025-2026 Academic Year
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
