Salary/Position Classification

  • 21.50 , Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The concourse lead manages and oversees an entire concourse, main concourse or upper concourse, and assures that each stand and employee have what they need to serve quality food items, follow sanitation requirements, and gives the customer top quality service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
  • Ensures customer satisfaction Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner answers questions from concession employees in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Assists customers with questions Has the ability to assist employees with balancing a cash register at the beginning and end of the shift, and sales at the end of shift.
  • Prepares and submits reports and other documentation requested by the concession manager.
  • Oversee the employee in the stands
  • Fill in where needed
  • Help with prep work as needed
  • Assist the concession manager and assistant manager with any clean up needs throughout the building after an event.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned - (Essential)

  • Must be able to work as part of a team

Minimum Requirements

  • Withstand prolonged periods of standing
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requested
