Salary/Position Classification

  • $12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5-10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

The Financial Secretary works closely with Student Body President and Student Government Executives in maintaining transparency and accuracy in all fiscal matters. This role helps track expenditures, prepare budget updates, and organize financial records to support strategic decision-making. This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial records and budgets
  • Organize receipts, invoices, and funding requests
  • Prepare reports on executive spending
  • Support funding audits and reviews as needed 

Required Competencies

  • Knowledge in financial accountability and budgeting
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit throughout the academic year
  • Remain in Good Academic Standing
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
