Salary/Position Classification

  • $14 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-15 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND undergraduate students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducting laboratory work
  • Performing a variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs
  • Preparing basic calculations
  • Collecting, organizing, and evaluating data
  • Completing literature reviews
  • Analyzing systems utilizing computer modeling

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Successful completion of criminal history records check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in field work, research, data analysis, or literature reviews
  • Currently taking or have taken courses in sciences or engineering.
