Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
This position will assist the Behavioral Health Initiative with the writing, editing, and proofreading of various communication materials, including website content, social media posts, newsletters, and marketing materials.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and proofread various communication materials, including website content, social media posts, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Assisting with the development of a marketing strategy Assisting with the planning and execution of events, including logistics, promotion, and on-site support.
- Managing files, preparing documents, and providing general administrative support.
- Updating and maintaining website content.
- Maintaining records and tracking communications efforts.
- Capturing photos and videos for use in communication materials.
- Creating visual content for social media, websites, and other platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- Available to work at least 10 hours per week
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Knowledge of / interest in learning about digital media, social media, creative writing, and marketing strategy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to ask questions and grow professionally
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications
- Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related major
Prior experience creating website and social media content
