Salary/Position Classification

  • $18.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide ground and flight training as an instructor for AVIT 238 in sUAS. Duties & Responsibilities
  • These activities include maintenance and repair of sUAS training
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Observe sUAS flight training activities. CFI preferred.
  • Other duties assigned 
  • Pay adjustment can be made for level of certifications/experience 

Minimum Requirements

  • Knowledge of sUAS operations
  • Requires remote pilot certificate
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • Must be enrolled in at least 1 credit for the next semester

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of both fixed wing and rotorcraft preferred
  • CFI Preferred
