Salary/Position Classification

• $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with laboratory duties, including supplies inventory and restocking.
• Cleaning and maintaining laboratory workspaces and instruments.
• Organizing and labeling samples or reagents as needed.
• Helping maintain safety protocols and ensuring compliance with lab safety standards. - Assisting with documentation and record-keeping for lab activities. - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Forensic Science program at UND.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior laboratory experience is considered a plus.
